June Holidays

The month of June brings the beginning of summer, Father’s Day, and Philippines Independence Day, among other things. It’s National Candy Month, National Dairy Month, and Gay Pride Month. Here are a few of the holidays we’ll be discussing in June:

• June 7 – Daniel Boone Day
• June 11 – Kamehameha Day in Hawaii
• June 12 – Philippines Independence Day
• June 14 – Flag Day in the US
• June 15 – Father’s Day
• June 19 – Juneteenth
• June 21 – The First Day of Summer
• June 24 – Quebec Day
• June 27 – Veteran’s Day in the UK
