Junk Mail Boat Racing

I decided that today should be a 2 part post. This time, the two parts are in the same post, though.
Part 1–Make your boats
I suggest that you make your boat from a junk mail that is glossy. This sort of paper is naturally more water resistant than the stuff you put into your printer. If you need help making a paper boat, I suggest this YouTube video (even though it progresses so slowly that I wanted to kick it to give it a jumpstart).
Part 2–Race your boats
I like this part the best, because I used to do a low-tech version of this with cousins and friends (normally not at the same time–I’m not sure why that was). I say “low-tech” because we used twigs. There is a lot more room for personality with these boats. I suggest some creative painting and/or modifications. (This is fun because, if you mess up, it’s junk mail, you can just pull out another annoying ad and start again.)
Let me know who wins in your little races, alright?
