Did you hear that the Associated Press and a blogging orgaization are meeting to discuss standards for quoting AP stories? There might be a fee involved for each word and even for linking to AP stories.

Wow.

I can understand a mother feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, even angry. But killing your child? Suffocating her so cruelly? Did this woman have zero conscience?

Every time I read the portrayal again and again I want to hug little Katie. It didn’t HAVE to be like this. That support group in Peoria is far from having a monopoly on truth.

And if I’m reeling, it must hit those who knew Katie to love her a million times harder…

Reading again that she wanted “a life without autism” makes me reel. I just don’t understand how a mother could do this to her own child.
