Katie Lee Joel Will Not Return For Season 2 of Top Chef

Rumors have been flying, and I have read various reports, but the news has now officially come from the Bravo Channel itself. Katie Lee Joel has
packed up her knives and will not return for Season 2 of Top Chef.
I can’t say that I am too surprised or disappointed. Katie Lee Joel, like the Project Runway host Heidi Klum, was robotic, dull, boring and ineffective as host. Sadly for Joel, unlike Heidi Klum, her only claim to fame was that she was the 24 year-old trophy wife of 56 year-old Billy Joel (both pictured above). There wasn’t a real reason to keep her. It appears that the Top Chef producers are keeping an eye out on the boards and listening to the viewers.
So, do you have any suggestions for the Bravo producers on who should fill Mrs. Joel’s shoes? Should it be a chef, a D-List star, some type of TV personality or someone completely unknown? Knowing TV producers they are going to want some female eye candy. Well, hopefully they can find some eye candy with more personality then mashed potatoes.
Let’s hear your suggestions.

I wish there was more of Cat Cora on tv, but I doubt she’d move from FN to Bravo. As long as it’s someone who connect with contestants and speak without garbling words I’ll be happy. It would be nice for the host to have some ties in the food world.
I think they should get Stephen from Season one to replace Katie. you know the one that knew alot about wine and food butwasn’t really a worker. He was the best contesteant I have ever seen and i think he should have won.

Just another pretty face. I don’t understand how she got as far as she did. She is as dry as the crust in my eyes in the morning. Abslute horses a**.
As for Stephen – Just another arrogant, sel-centered ,haute cook. A cross between Rod Stewart and Barry manilow. What an absolute freak of nature. That young culinary student on Top Chef should have punched him in the head. He was amusing and a plain horses a**
