They’re delicious, that’s for sure, and healthy to boot. But the latest news, that garlic and onions can help thwart cancer, raises these two pungent bulbs to super food status.
According to the results of recent studies carried out in Italy and Switzerland, the risk of several different kinds of cancer is reduced in people who consume large amounts of allium vegetables, which include onions and garlic.
The researchers report that both onion and garlic were associated with significant reductions in the risk of all the cancers studied, with garlic in particular linked to a large risk reduction.
So what are you waiting for? Work more of these delicious vegetables into your diet today!

OK, but not raw!!!
Jokes aside, do you know if cooking onions and garlic reduces their cancer-fighting properties?

Thank you!
