I’m really excited about October for Kids Health Notes. One of the best ways that this blog can serve you is to help your families’ health by encouraging the use of eco-friendly products in our homes. Less chemicals in our cleaners mean less hazard for our children.
‘Sides, it’s Kids Health Notes’ First Anniversary last month, so I want to start the new year with cleaner, greener, and healthier families for our readers.
I’m giving away three products that have been parent-tested and parent-approved, so you know they really work.
- Universal Stone all-purpose cream based cleaner. It’s certified green and made in Europe.
- Seventh Generation cleaning products.
- Ringley Teether. This a wooden and organic cloth teething ring that parents and infants love!
So, who’s up for it? Here’s how to join.
Answer this in the comment: What is one household chore you really love to do?
- One entry per person per day.
- It’s open to residents of the US only.
- Contest ends 11:59 midnight EST on October 12, 2008 (Sunday). Three winners will be randomly chosen and announced via blog and email the week after.
- If a winner does not reply within 3 days, he/she forfeits her winnings and an alternate entry will be chosen.
- REMINDER #1 : In previous contests, I have had several winners forfeited for failure to reply to my emails. Please make sure your settings don’t put my email into the junk folder, otherwise you’ll have no idea you won. Better yet, please check this blog for the winners’ list after the contest ends. Best bet, come back often and stay a reader!
- REMINDER #2: Only entries with legit answers will be included in the draw. There are good reasons I ask these questions in Kids Health Notes. Actually, only a few forget to answer the questions, but I really want to include all commenters into the contest, so just take note of that when you join. And as always, I appreciate the conversation. Have fun here!
UPDATE: This contest is now closed.

Ironing
I am not going to lie because I don’t love any of it. I will say I don’t mind vacuuming. It’s pretty quick & easy. Thanks for the giveaway!
My kids love cooking with me
I am enjoying laundry since I recently won GE High Profile washer/dryer.
I love to dust and polish the wood furniture – it brightens the room up and makes the house smell like lemon.
My favorite household chore is cleaning the kitchen.
I alway love the look of it after it has been cleaned and scrubbed.
Thank you for always offering such wonderful giveaways.
I would LOVE to win !!
Love? haha Well I don’t mind windexing!
Vaccuming
I enjoy making the bed – it is easy!
cleaning the mirrors is easy.
LOVE cooking, but hate the dishes so my oldest daughter (almost 13) does them.
I still haven’t thought of a household chore I love to do. Cooking is about as close as it gets and upon occasion (when I’m making something special or for a special occasion) I do love to do that.
I love to cook and bake.
I LOVE to Vacuum!
Cooking! And that’s it, I truly hate the rest of it, unfortunately.
Changing the A.C. Filters because I know the kids will probably be breathing a little fresher air.
Okay, please don’t think I am weird, but I love to clean the main bathroom! About 4 years ago we had it remodeled and I vowed when we did that and spent a small fortune to do it, that I would keep it looking brand new for as long as I possibly could! With a husband and 3 young children it is a challenge, that’s for sure! But, I truly enjoy seeing it remain almost like new so it is a pleasure to clean it! I would love some new cleaning products to keep the motivation going, LOL!
My chore is mowing the grass. I guess I like it because I get to be outside.
I LOVE dusting. I put on some tunes and rock out while I wisk away those dust bunnies.
I actually enjoy vacuuming. I find it sort of relaxing.
I like vacuuming also.
Another chore I like to do is organize the kitchen and the bath.

I still love laundry!
I love to cook. I have a large family, so every job is a big job in my house. But, I really do enjoy the sense of accomplishment I get after I have really cleaned the house.
Empyting the dryer is fun! I never know what I will find!
I love cooking and baking.
Baking is as close as it comes to “loving” a household chore. I don’t do it as often as I did when the kids were small, so it’s usually for a special occasion and that help makes it fun.
Vacuuming because you see instant results.
I (know this is totally weird) actually enjoy cleaning the bathroom. It takes about 20 minutes start to finish, and it gleams (literally) when I’m done.
Laundry with my new GE High Profile washer/dryer that I recently won.
I love to cook, especially breakfast.
I like to do laundry
VACUMING
I love to vacuum.
I like doing the laundry. We mostly hang out our clothes so they really smell nice and fresh.
I like cooking, but can’t stand folding laundry
My favorite chore has to be hand-washing pots and pan! That’s only because I get to tie my hair up Aunt-Jemima style, pull on those sexy little yellow rubber gloves, blast some music and shake it while I scour and scrub! It’s weird, but it works.
I LOVE to clean, love it.
I love doing the laundry. After I’ve finished I really feel as if I done something great for my family.
Vacuuming
cook
I like to vacuum too.

I can’t get enough laundry!
I like to pack the dishwasher – it’s nice to get rid of dirty dishes!
Taking out the trash means going outside for a change.
I like to mow the lawn.
I like vacuuming….the sound of the vacuum is relaxing and it makes the whole room look cleaner.
I don’t know if I love any of them, but I like cleaning windows
Cooking and Baking.
I like to vacumn.
