Kids Health Notes give-away: Kushies cloth diapers

Let me tell you, new babies can be very expensive!
Diapers alone can cost up to $1,500 to $2,000 or more on disposables by the time baby is done with them. That would be anywhere from $0.16 to $0.25 cents per diaper. Now compare that reusable or cloth diapers at around 12 cents a diaper with a washing service, or 3 cents if you wash them yourself. But that’s not all the difference between cloth and disposable. Rashes happen at about the same amount regardless of the type used. Obviously, disposables are a lot more convenient, but they do fill up the landfill fast!
Which one to use? This white paper from the University of Michigan recommends you take advantage of both, or try both to see which one you end up more inclined to… but while you are still thinking about it…
Kushies, the world’s leader on washable diapers, is sponsoring to give-away three Starter Diaper Packages (retails at $90 each)

- Flushable liners
- Infant/toddler washable diaper liner

How to join?
In the comments, can you share a funny potty/diaper humor? (I’ll start – tonight my infant son farted really loudly in the middle of a prayer meeting! LOL ).

You haven’t lived until you’re “pooped” on, and they’re likely to poop a pile just after you’ve changed them into a nice, clean diaper!
When our youngest was about 2, we went to a Holiday Inn in Duluth, Mn. They had a kiddie pool. He couldn’t wait! HE jumped right in, legs straight out in the air, and landed in the water. Out he came, with the diaper FULL of water. But, that didn’t slow him down. He did this over and over and over until the FULL water soaked diaper was hanging down around his ankles. He didn’t care. He had a blast!!
One of the toddlers liked to pull the disposable diaper snake out of the pail and drag it around the house…there was no breakage or leakage, thankfully.
My son was using the restroom in a store and pooped. He said really loud- wow mom- that poop splashes much louder here than at home in my potty. Can we buy this one and take it home.
Love the stinkies; taken and put in the dog yard Emptied the diaper. “The dog did it”!!!!!!!
I’d love for my son!
Daughter showed me her toilet creation!
i am not sure if this is funny, but one day my twins were giggling and laughing so hard i didnt want to disturb them. when i tiptoed up there, i found them “painting” the walls with their poop.
When my daughter was not quite two months old, we went on vacation and I didn’t bring an infant tub, so I put her in the tub with her grandma. There she was bathing with grandma, too sweet, right? Then strange floating objects began appearing in the water and grandma suddenly wanted out!
My 2 year old thinks it’s funny to fart while getting his diaper changed..
Some of the kids wanted us to count the poops!
Our friends were so proud of potty training their little girl before she was a year old. For every potty she did in her potty seat, she received M&Ms as a reward. When she got tired of the M&Ms they started finding her poops behind the couch, hidden in corners and other scary places.
Well, my son hasn’t really started potty training yet, but he loves to run after us into the bathroom to sit on his little potty (clothes and all) while we *ahem!* sit on the big potty.
It’s serious
my son is now 15 an still pee/poops his pants so my docter said i should never to expect to get him potty traind an atvice on this he douse this all the time an i hate it everone knows /help????????????
The funniest thing EVER was I went to my doctor about my older son when he was 2 & 4 months as he wasn’t pooping. The doctor said that it was my fault as he was delayed with potty training! So 2yr 4 mo is late for boys? Ridiculous! Anyway we survived the drama and my son is fine and potty trained at the average age of about 3, but we changed docs. Now I trust my own judgement for my new baby. In hindsight it was the funniest thing!
We want to potty train, but my daughter isn’t really interested. She is interested in seeing her poop after EVERY poopy diaper. If I put it away too fast she’ll whine until I get it out and show her. Is this normal??
