Girls love horses! And the next best thing to having your own or riding on one, is reading an adventure story about girls and their horses. Jo Ann Dawson beautifully wrote three four books full of adventure, mysteries and secrets about two young girls and their horses – The Lucky Foot Stables series. The first book – Lady’s Big Surprise – will totally catch you by surprise. As I read the book, I thought- oh this must be that surprise. But the ending was be an extra source of delight! And I loved how well the author created two believable girls who couldn’t be more opposite than day and night, and yet are truly ‘epic’ friends. That the books are finalists to three major awards give you more clues to how great the writing is. Check out the website – Lucky Foot Stables – to get a feel for the author, her writing and the other books.
I have two books – “Lady’s Big Surprise” and the sequel “Star of Wonder” to give away to ONE (1) very happy winner! Here’s how to join –
- In the comments, share what adventure books does your child love to read now.
- Additional entry will be given to those who link this contest post on their site! You need to include your post URL.
- Eligibility – one entry per person per email daily (so you get more entries if you come back tomorrow, but I need different books each time).
