Kiss As Much Frogs As You Can

Kiss A Frog | Dating Dames, A Dating BlogIt’s quite similar to the popular saying, “try and try until you succeed”, don’t you agree?

Women, being prone to thoughts lingering on the faerie tales we’ve read growing up, are stuck with the idea that we’ll go through life finding love in just one prince charming. We’re led to believe that there will only be one man who will capture our hearts and sweep us off our feet. But does it really happen often in real life? Do we end up with our first crush or first boyfriend? Can we honestly say we didn’t find any other man attractive?

I’m not pushing you guys to date multiple guys at one time. All I’m saying is that there’s nothing wrong if you do end up breaking up with the first guy you’ve ever said the words, “I love you”. There’s nothing wrong if you think that it’s best for you to sample the buffet before you tie the knot. What’s important is that you give dating a proper shot so you’d discover what you truly want and need in a partner. Experience is the best teacher.

So, adding a twist to the faerie tale, I implore that you kiss as much frogs as you can, if that is what it takes to find your Mr. Right. For all you know that next frog you do kiss will be the only frog you’ll be kissing for the rest of your life.

Thank God I didn’t end up with my first crush, boyfriend or 1st husband for that matter.

My current husband has turned out to be a bit of a toad, but I’ve given up the fantasy that there is better out there too. Sometimes the grass just needs watering and weeding.
