Knee Injury Recovery: A Lesson from Tiger Woods

I’m still bummed about my dislocated knee accident. I took my brace off last night for a few minutes, and my kneecap looks all weird and swollen. I made an appointment with the orthopedic doctor for Wednesday, so until then … ooh la la. I’ve got to take it easy.

I’m not alone with being a knee injury victim. A friend who read my blog post wrote me and told me all about her knee woes — which actually changed the course of her life — twice. In good ways. And of course, the whole world watched Tiger Woods suffer through injuries and multiple surgeries on his left knee. He eventually changed his swing to alleviate stress on this knee.

I like what Tiger Woods said in Golf Digest, “I took some steps backward to go forward — to make some giant leaps forward.”

There’s a good thought for us all.
