knifty tool for dressmaking

Threads Magazine is offering a free PDF print-out of “croquis” figures (schematic line drawings).

The figures come in several body shapes as well as options for women, men & children.  Just print out the figure of your choice, and place a sheet of tracing paper over top.  You can then draw an outfit or new design on top with the correct proportions!

  1. Do they have these for animals? My wife might be interested. :D

I am a big fan of 1940s fashion. Do you have any ideas of where to find patterns, images, etc.? If and when you reply, please put “Ducky, do not delete” in the message box, otherwise my filters will dump it.
