Know Where Your Dog Is At All Times

When I was a kid, we had a dog that just did not like being in the backyard. No matter what methods we’d try — going out with her on a leash, attaching her to a lead, etc — she always managed to jump the fence separating the front and back yards, and we’d inevitably have a neighbor knocking on the door not too long after, dog in hand (most of the time we didn’t even know she’d gotten out!).

Had technology been anything like it is today, we could have been notified immediately as soon as she left the boundaries of our backyard. SpotLight, a GPS locator from Positioning Animals Worldwide, does just that. The unit keeps track of your pet’s location and notifies you immediately if they leave their designated boundaries.
If your dog does manage to leap a fence or dash out the front door, the unit will notify you via computer or cell phone, and actually lead you to the dog’s location, turn by turn, using Google Maps.
The unit comes with the pet locator, a tag, and a rechargeable battery. There is an activation fee and service plan required as well.
