Kylie Minogue Releases Children’s Book

Well, it’s been a while since I mentioned Ms. Minogue, but she’s in the news this week with an interesting combination of products:

First up is a children’s book: Kylie: Showgirl Princess. According to The Daily Telegraph the project was inspired by fan drawings sent in while she recovered from breast cancer. “The story tells the tale of Minogue’s rise to fame with the help of a dedicated team, including boyfriend Olivier Martinez’s dog.” Interesting… if perhaps a little self-centered.

The other product: A pin-up calendar. The perfect complement. I speculate this project was inspired by, well, a light pocket book and a desire to be seen.

Parents… don’t go mixing the two up.
