Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gift Idea

Potholders with pockets can make great gift containers for an assortment of kitchen goodies you put together yourself.
Here’s the gift I picked out: I walked into Williams-Sonoma and picked up a cute Provence pot holder, Chef’n Salad Dressing Emulsifier and some gourmet extra-virgin olive oil in a cute bottle with wax seal and a bottle of Dijon mustard.

Since the Chef’n Salad Dressing Emulsifier contains dressing recipes right on the bottle, I was able to pick out a couple of the ingredients to include with the gift. Another ingredient choice might have been balsamic vinaigrette. You could also opt to include some wooden salad spoons.

If mom’s not a salad lover, there are plenty of other options, including nice kitchen hand soap and pretty dish clothes or cloth napkins and napkin rings. Or how about some silicone muffin cups and a frosting spreader?
Have you done your Mother’s Day shopping?
