Lead toy recalls

Chief Family Officer, the omniscient lead toy recall source, has posted about another seven toy recalls. Six of them for dangerous lead exposure and one for a head injury risk.

Particularly timely is the recall of a Halloween pail for violation of lead paint standards.

I have three little kids so I am very concerned! I used to really like Fisher Price, but now I will not buy any more products from them or any other toys made in china. You assume when you buy products for your kids that they will be safe for them and not poisonous. We need to all boycott the toys made in china and instead purchase toys made in USA. Let’s not put our kids at risk! I am actually pleasantly surprised to find toy companies that do make their products in USA. Like Little Tikes, and Step 2 along with others. I will definately be checking labels from now on and “Made in China” will go back on the shelf!
