Learn Tips To Manage Stress From A Writer

As a writer who works from home, I rely on an obscene number of numerous newsletters from writers groups to keep me up to date with what’s going on in the writing business, learn about writing markets and current writing gigs, and take note of writing contests that pique my interest (even though I haven’t entered one since…oh, 2006, I think).

It’s ain’t all laptops and lattes, let me tell you.

Actually, it’s more like one desktop looking to retire and 47 cups of Sam’s Choice Columbian coffee.

But, I digress.

When I saw Help for Writer’s Stress – 6 Tips to De-Stress Your Life by Dawn Arkin in last week’s Worldwide Freelance Writer newsletter, I knew I had to share it with you. Not because I’m assuming you’re all writers looking to de-stress your lives, but because the tips Arkin offers are relevant to everyone.

After all, we could all do well to learn how to keep our obligations to a minimum, embrace the power of music, laugh, and take “mini mental vacations,” right?

Go ahead and check it out. I promise you’ll be able to use at least a few of them in your quest to de-stress.
