Lego Computer Case

Lego PC

What will people do next?  I think that is part of the fun of this blog…I get to peruse the internet and find the oddest and coolest contraptons (sometimes they coincide…I try to report on those…).  Today I have a lego computer case from Gadget Venue in a post entitled: Lego Computer running Kubuntu Linux.  (That’s where the picture came from the my post is based on theirs.  Funny thing is their post is based on a post by Jeremy–the original creator of the lego computer case–at http://jeremyduenas.com/?p=78.  Instructions on how to make the lego computer case are there as well.)

I would never have thought that the original operating system on the computer could melt Legos.  I guess I just don’t know enough about everything.

My take on it is that the little guy controlling the whole operation (see picture) should be a little dwarf or gnome.  (Okay, so I’ve read one too many fantasy books.)  Kudos for the idea of having a little man “driving” the contraption–serious humor there.

  2. I used to, but I got into creating with other mediums–I believe I posted (or was planning on posting) a USB storage device made out of one or two lego pieces…

What can I say? Quite simply, I just love this!

  4. Yeah, me too. Jeremy obviously had a lot of fun with his creation. (and a lot of time on his hands…)

(Then again, look at who’s talking…)
