Lemon Parsley Pork Chops

The other night we had company over, and I was completely stumped for what to make for them. Then I remembered an old favorite that I found on Martha Stewart’s website a few years ago: lemon parsley pork chops.

This recipe is incredibly simple, but so tasty that company always asks me what I did that was so special. The combination of lemon, parsley, salt, pepper and garlic is enough to really surprise your taste buds. It’s an unexpected flavor that you really don’t get usually with pork.
The ingredients for the topping of the pork chops on this recipe are spot on. Follow them exactly. However, I did the cooking of the actual pork chop a little differently. Rather than sear them in the pan and then add water, I simply cooked them in olive oil until they were done. You could also bake them if you wanted to and then add the lemony topping.
