Less Expensive Solar and Wind Power From Google

Well, Google is not currently selling less expensive solar power and wind power but reports have it that this great company is already working on a plan. This plan is to create a research group which would be tackling ways of how to develop solar and wind power for a much lesser price. Now if this one becomes successful, consumers would be able to purchase solar power or wind power for a less amount of money than the current rates in the market.

Larry Page is a co-founder of Google and during an interview, he disclosed, “We’re a large consumer of energy due to our data centers, so we’re a natural customer. We see opportunities to make significant investments that generate positive returns.”

At present, Google is now hiring engineers as well as experts in energy. These would be the people to form the research group who would be handling the process of looking for cheaper ways to develop alternative and renewable sources of energy.
