Let’s Hear From Other Stay at Home Dads – The Best and Worst
I have been chatting with other Stay at Home Dads over the last 3 years, and especially since I have been active online. It is a great way to get in touch with other dads all across the country and other parts of the world. I thought I would share what others had to say about their experiences. Was I the only one feeling this way? Apparently a lot of Stay at Home Dads share more of the same issues than you think.
Our first person we are going to hear from is Dennis from New Jersey. He gives us his Best and Worst of being a Stay at Home Dad. Over the course of the next few days I will post what other people have to say from all over the country.

Best and Worst Aspects of Being a SAHD
I’ve been a SAHD/WAHD since early 2005! It’s definitely a challenge working from home while taking care of a toddler, my son is 27 months old and my wife and I are expecting our second son in February! The worst part of being a SAHD is that you are the one who is w/ your kid 24/7, but at the same time that is rewarding to. Having to deal with mommy tantrums is one of my least favorite parts of being a SAHD! The best part is seeing your child develop into a loving caring person! The funny thing is changing diapers for me isn’t that bad, its one on one time w/ my toddler where we talk, laugh and bond! The one part of this situation I dislike is being the primary disciplinarian that can be rough! Checkout my blog at Toddler Tales.Dennis
