I am from Chicago and because I think global warning is due to solar cycles and sun activity, I will be turning on every light and appliance I own to celebrate the fact that global warming is not man made.

Thanks Julie for joining in. You can try to explain it to the rest of your household but worst case is you still can turn off your room lights.

Another idea is if you have those dimmer switches where you turn down the knob to dim the lights, then you can just turn it down for a while during the Earth Hour.

In any case, whatever contribution you do will be very well appreciated by mother earth.

I’ll join in, but I doubt I can get the rest of my household to keep their hands off the switches. Maybe if I yell loudly enough…
