Lexus Fuller, the four-year-old with cerebral palsy whose mother, Kellie Waremburg, is accused of trying to kill her, is out of the hospital. According to an article in today’s Peoria Journal-Star, Lexus “has made an amazing recovery, despite authorities’ initial concerns that she may not live.” Lexus went home on Sunday with her father, Scott Fuller.
Having written too many in memoriam posts in the past month, I hope Lexus’ “amazing recovery” continues—-and that, now that she is out of the hospital, we not forget her story.
