You’ve already heard me blabbing about getting two of my photos into Stampington & Company’s new magazine, Life Images. Well, they’ve sent me an extra copy that I’m allowed to give away here on Layers Upon Layers!!
I’m excited, because I think you’ll love this magazine. It combines art photography with storytelling, quotations, poetry, and journaling. It has both black-&-white and full-color shots, and also digitally and manually manipulated ones. It’s a totally beautiful issue, and I’m really proud to be included.
***Free Magazine Alert ***
If you’d like to have a free copy of Life Images, simply leave me a comment below. In one week, I will draw a name out of a hat and send this gorgeous issue to that lucky person!

Cyndi, I really want to congratulate you for the success you have at everything you do. Your pictures are breathtaking! I would love a copy of the magazine but it is a hassle to send things down here, so if you draw my name just draw another one because someone in the US would get it so much faster.:)

Sounds like a fabulous magazine!
I’d like to win the magazine, but this is a great time for me to tell you how great Layers Upon Layers is!
Happy days, Joanie
You guys are so sweet! Thanks so much for your support, and your good wishes. I’m glad that LUL has been helpful to some of you
Wow. I’d not heard of “Life Images.” God knows, in northern Nevada I’d never SEE it. Art & photography & writing. The big three. Most magazines, classes, art omits the writing part.
Congratulations on getting your photos published. How nice of you to share your extra magazine. Thanks!
Your picture is gorgeous. Did you manipulate the colors? They are so vibrant!! I hadn’t heard of this new mag, and will have to check it out.
Hi Barb! No colors were harmed in the making of this image. The sun was out and it really was that brilliant. I added a gaussian blur and upped some of the levels a bit, but I didn’t add extra color or colors that weren’t there that day
Beautiful photo Cyndi. Haven’t hear of this new magazine. You must be so proud to be in the first issue.
I would love to see this mag!
You are so generous with your talent and time. Thank you for both. Your photo is such a contrast of colors and textures and even illustrates the concept of a vanishing point! Wow. Here’s to my finding a new mag. in my mailbox soon.
What a GORGEOUS photograph!!!! I’d love a chance to check out this new mag!
Wow, what a gorgeous picture. My first response was “The Road Less Travelled”. Fabulous. I can see a poem or short story to go with this. Thanks for posting and would love to see the rest of the magazine.
I’d love to see the new magazine. Wish I could be a great photographer, too! Thanks for the offer.
Photography … one of my favorite art forms. I’d be thrilled to win the magazine. Your photo is a honey: Have you already posted where you took it? Must be in the South East USA? Thanks for giving it away; very generous. And Where is your magazine available? I looked at your website yesterday for hours, following links. Haven’t ever made an altered book or object yet; just joined the Yahoo group and already am intimidated!
