Have a towel always at the ready, but take up no space at all, with the Lightload Towels — a handy little 3½ disk that expands to a full 3×5 feet when opened.
Toss it in a tote, backpack, purse, or pocket, and always have a towel handy.
The container is waterproof, so your towel stays dry until you need it. The material is both absorbent and biodegradable, so you can use and then throwaway while still being eco-friendly. The towels are washable (recommended washing in a mesh bag), but will not stand up to dozens of machine washes.
Use as a beach towel, makeshift table cloth, clean up rag, a blanket to sit on, or a layer of warmth when caught without one. Great for car trips and hiking,
A smaller sized 1×2 foot towel is also available.
Purchase online from Lightload Towels, or at various retail locations. Prices start at $6.50, with deep discounts available when ordering in quantity.

i always keep a couple of these in the diaper bag, too! very handy for cleaning up babies on the go, and more versatile than baby wipes!
Douglas Adams always said that the towel was the most important tool a hitchhiker could have, and this only makes it better!
There are lots of great ideas for these towels, and since they don’t take up much space they are so easy to keep around.
I think I may have to stock up on a few more and keep them in a variety of different places.
