In the current issue of Glamour, which I adore, don’t get me wrong, I noticed a bunch of topics that Lively Women covered first. I’m not saying I scooped them, mind you, because we had different sources and different approaches, but I like to think that it’s further evidence that Lively Women is on the cutting edge of women’s health issues.
Here are the topics with a link to the original post and the page number in the September 2007 issue of Glamour:
- Is Work Making You Fat? Tips for avoiding “corporate spread” (Glamour, p. 180)
- Preventing and Treating UTIs (Glamour, p. 182)
- No-Period Birth Control Pills (Glamour, p. 204)
- Healthy, Energizing Snacks (Glamour, p. 370)
- The Jordin Sparks/MeMe Roth Obesity Flap (Glamour, p. 375)

Have you ever pitched to Glamour or similar mags? Sounds like you’re just what the assignment editor ordered.
No, but it sounds like I probably should, huh. I’ve always been too scared… But I don’t know if I’m more afraid of them rejecting me or of them hiring me to write something!
