Living Histories

My local library is running the Living Libraries programme again. Apparently it was a real success last year. This involves library users selecting and borrowing a person instead of a book. The term I saw being used to promote this was living histories. The idea is to book in some time to talk and listen with this person. I couldn’t help thinking that we are involved in and creating living histories as we write in our journals. Here’s a reminder to add important events & items that may seem boring and day to day, just because someone might research your journal for historical content one day.
