Losing Weight – The Dreaded Monday Weigh In

I’m starting to dread Monday’s because of the weigh in.  This time I felt really good about the weigh in.  I can see some difference in my clothes but definitely not on the scale.

It remained the same.

Sometimes it is difficult to keep your momentum going because you want the scale to show the decrease as a reward for all of your hard work.  Becoming more active and exercising improves your overall health.  And losing weight will come but it will not be overnight.  I can definitely relate to this fact.

I’m reminded that of course I didn’t put the weight on overnight. It was a gradual increase just like it should be a gradual decrease.

Next Monday will be better.  I went to Zumba tonight and I did sweat like a pig.  That’s got to count for something right?

This happened to my sister. The scale would stay the same every other week. On the week where it moved, she’d be down exactly three pounds. Maybe your body is doing something similar?
