Lovers & Definitions

As the world celebrates Valentine’s Day I can’t help noticing how many people are celebrating without a particular person or lover in mind. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. For me the day is open to celebrate however people want to. I suppose I’m happy to see the move away from the more traditional view of what this day is supposed to mean. This always makes those who are single feel left out or even unloved, which no one wants to feel.
Today write a journal entry about what this day means to you. Define the words lover and lovers. Then look up the words in a dictionary. Define what purpose this day has to you with or without a lover of your own. Write about what it would be like not to have someone to celebrate this day with, or write about how it would be with a lover. Create a tradition to celebrate to give this day more personal meaning.
