I have a blast machine-embroidering and love learning new techniques! I just came across a tutorial from Threads Magazine on how to make lace fabric using your sewing machine, nylon tulle and lots & lots of thread 
I think I may try using this technique on a small project before I do a whole garment…

Thank you…Thank you…Thank you for this web site. I have been looking all over for different ways to use an embroidery machine. Especially for making lace. My imagination has found new ways to run free. I love to try new things but I always need help with creating ideas… This makes it easy for me now. Thanks
