Make an Umbrella Skirt from RePlayGround

RePlayGround, formerly Tiffany Tomato Designs, is a nice place to kick back and read about junk projects and also shop for some recycled goods.

One project featured on RePlayGround is the Umbrella Skirt. Who doesn’t have a dysfunctional umbrella lurking in the closet? Turns out they make cute waterproof skirts. Complete directions are online at RePlayGround.

jiffy-note-pad.jpgAn example of an item from the site’s shop is the Food Notes mini journal, available in buttermilk biscuit or fudge brownie. The journal features 75 sheets of recycled paper and a cover made from a reclaimed food box.

Also available — several different Remake It! recycling kits. Most of what you need is supplied, but you come up with some items like glass bottles or scrap paper. These kits help you recycle, but also allow you to add your own personal touches.

RePlayGround also buys junk from companies and others who find themselves with a large surplus of unwanted items like maps, calendars, food packaging and more. Visit Junk it for more details.

Play for a bit
and then tell me what you think of the site, please.
