Technique Tuesday!

I used a piece of masonite board as the substrate for this collage. I love how strong it is, preventing warping when you’re using heavily manipulated papers like these.

You make it sound so easy! I’m going out to buy a piece of masonite. Your tipe are very helpful. Thank you.

It is! Not everything I make turns out to be some sort of masterpiece, but it’s usually fulfilling enough to keep me going :-)

  3. This is very cool Cyndi. Love the background, the colors, and the shapes. Thanks for the tute.

  4. Whoops, forgot to mention that I especially like the Bible verse on there.

Do you use the rough side or the smooth side?

  6. Cyndi says:

This time I used the smooth side, but I don’t really think it mattered that much since the entire surface was covered with textured paper. Papers seem to adhere quite well to either side, although the rough side sucks up a bit more glue!
