Male Quilters Awarded Prizes at Tri-Rivers Fair

It’s great to see the young men getting involved in quilting, too.  In an article on the KWCH –  Kansas News and Weather site, 2 Teen Males Claim Best of Show Ribbons in Quilting, we learn these teenagers at the Tri-Rivers Fair in Salina, KS.

Incidentally, when I was doing research for my book, The Magic of Patchwork, I came across information that said Dwight Eisenhower and his brother Milton had to sew quilt squares, so many each day, for their mother.

A number of men have become very well known in the quilting and fabric arts field and teach as well as create wonderful works of art.
