Manifesting The Spirit In My Personal Life

The question has been raised in regard to the Eleventh Tradition;
“Are we as a on-line sober community practicing this principle the best we can?”
Hmmm. let’s consider…
“Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films.”
Scott really has what I’d think was an excellent viewpoint when he says;
“I know I have done a few things I would not like to do again. This is how I learn. I can only move forward and amend it by changing.”
I might personally suggest we, the members of an online community doing our best to carry the message in a way the originals couldn’t, remember that AA is not Perfects Anonymous. Also remember that there is a Higher Power of our understanding (individualized) who is truly “in charge.” I.E., if this “thing” we know as AA is meant to die, it will and the reality will be that it was meant to be.
Some do the right thing, some don’t. How many of you can remember folks who’ve given up their anonymity publically only to slip again and again. Has AA died as a result? Of course not.
Some offer pictures on their Blogs. I’m in Savannah, Ga. As an example, JJ is in or around Boston. I really don’t know her at all but I call her friend. She isn’t upsetting any apple carts! Neither are any of us, imho. We, individually or collectively, are no doubt doing more good than harm. Folks from across the globe can read me, or JJ, or any of us, and “hear” the message of recovery and its all good!

Thanks for your input.
