Mario Batali Panini Grill and Press

I am not a sandwich person but I want a Panini grill. Am I crazy of what? I drool over the electric panini grills that I see in stores. I’m always hinting at my husband how I would like to own one. Of course I’ll use it to make sandwiches for the whole family once I have it.

I called it “interesting” because it looks different from all the other panini grills that’s I’ve see. This looks more like a regular cast iron pan with grill marks and a heavy cover fore pressing purposes. The ones I wish I have are more elaborate than this. However, this Marion Batali panini grill looks like a space saver. It works for any gas, electric and ceramic-top ranges. It also works in the oven up to 500° F.
