Penny,

I really do love a good rose' and now that the days are getting warmer, will need much more.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It's always to nice that someone appreciates what you've done: whether something you've crafted from grapes or from words.

Cheers!

Thank you for the wonderful review-This is what makes winemaking worth it- making something that people enjoy, a part of me that I can share. May sound gooey, but true.

The Rose is my favorite wine to make- if I had to pick-it is also the most challenging- to try to come up with just the right color, fruit, acid. You have to get it right at the beginning, no reversing course. Though there are 'tools' out there to fix any mistakes, for me that just ain't right!

Cheers to good food, good friends, and family-Penny

She seems like a great lady, who can make a dang good wine! Now I just need to try some of the red kind.

I was never much of a rosé fan until about 3 years ago. But California rosés sure are gaining my attention, not the least of which is this beautiful effort from Penelope Gadd-Coster, winemaker at Coral Mustang. There's something very refreshing about a rosé made from the robust Tempranillo grape that a red-wine lover like me wants to love a little more when warm weather comes.

I got a chance to meet Penny last week at Wine 2.0, Farley, and I know she's someone you'd love to meet too - for a variety of reasons.
