MEGA Brands recalls several magnetic toys

The CPSC has recalled several magnetic toys manufactured by MEGA brands for risk of aspiration and intestinal hazards. This recall effects 2.4 million units sold at Walmart, Target, K-Mart and Toys R US between January 2005 and December 2007.

The recalled products were sold as MagnaMan Magnetic Toy Figures, Magtastik and Magnetix Jr. Pre-School Magnetic Toys. There are quite a few product numbers, so visit the Consumer Product Safety Commission bulletins 08-222 (MagnaMan) and 08-223 (Magtastik, Magnetix Jr.)  for the full model number listing and pictures of the associated products.

The CPSC advises those who own these toys to stop using them immediately and that they may return them to MEGA for a replacement toy.
