I try to do the list thing. But I only remember to actually add to the list when I've completed a task. Not sure that's the way those things are supposed to work.

Being the poster child for Adult ADD, I don't know if I have memory loss, or... oh look something shiny!

Things that I memorize, I retain, but it is the short term stuff that I "lose" frequently. (What did I come here to get? Leave room... oh yeah... return to room... "Damn, forgot again"

Those tips look great. A lot of them I've seen before, but some of them are new to me. The one I need to work on the most is staying in the moment - my mind is always wandering off.

My biggest problem, besides people's names, has always been remembering when something is supposed to happen. "I know we've got library books due. Oh, they were due LAST WEEK?" Breaking down and buying a desk calendar to jot things down on has been my biggest help. (I'm sure lots of people already do that, but it's honestly the only thing I do.)

I find I have the hardest time remembering peoples names.

One trick I did in high school to remember the periodic table was to make up a little poem with each word beginning with one of the elements.
