I get these messages from the universe every weekday in my inbox. I love them. It’s like a little prayer, affirmation and meditative message from the Universe giving me some perspective. Usually there is a paradigm shift and I love language and thought play.
I’m experimenting with controlling my emotions and changing my perspectives to make me happier, more efficient and more productive. It’s kind of hard to change the way you see things, but once you control that I think there is freedom in it. I also think it’s empowering to be able to change perspectives and choose your own destiny, thoughts, emotions and actions based on what you really want rather than letting your emotional knee-jerk reaction control what you get.
Does that make any sense? Example: You and husband get in an argument and you decide to think a different way about whatever you were discussing. You decide you don’t really care about winning or losing, but you want to be happy, so you work it out in your own head how youcan be okay with it. The other way is just being controlled by your own emotions. Choosing to decide that it’s irrelevant whether he’s totally wrong or lacking empathy – just letting go of the anger because it’s not serving your ultimate goals. I think there might be freedom in that. I’m still working it out in my head.
