I cracked up at the shot of Bill Clinton, teeth over bottom lip, hands up, eyes twinkling. He’s so funny to me.

Now that that SNL dude has done him so much, it’s hard to not see humor in his real life presence. Same with Bush.

Bill is on my list of people you’d love to have dinner with though.

Hillary’s speech was good I thought, except for the “Not Now, Not Ever, Not McCain” bit..what is that a cheer?

Anderson Cooper and cable news is the reason it’s “boring.”

They didn’t use to cover the whole thing. They covered the major speeches. It’s their own fault they have so much time to fill. It was never meant to be completely televised.

That’s not a flaw with the convention – it’s a flaw with televising all of the convention.

I watched it too. I have to agree with my sweetie Andy Cooper, the first hour was so boring. I love Nancy Pelosi, but her speech was horrible and she seemed to have a major problem switching between teleprompters. Teddy really got the crowd going and I thought Michelle was fantastic. I cried my eyes out when she spoke of her father’s M.S. (our neice has it, too, and it’s just horrible).

I agree about Barack. It made me feel uneasy and embarrased when his kids kept screaming “Hi Daddy!” and he would talk over it because of the delay. It seemed so staged.

Hey Luke – I published the live feed of Obama speaking that you Twittered- but then it just went to slide show of one picture -so I deleted it.

It would be better if they ran made it so people could play it even if they were like at work or something in mid-day. Don’t you think?

I agree about the whole, not good television” thing. Pundits and reporters act like they are hosting some trashy VH1 Reality Show.

All they need is a house in the hills and about 12 washed up strippers in search of a soulmate to complete the picture.

In all honesty, I do enjoy the soap opera a bit, but yea it can be way overdone. You have to remember the real reason all of this is happening.
