There’s no denying that one surefire way to not be able to fall asleep is to have a massive headache or some of the other symptoms of migraine (nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to touch, for example).
According to a study published in the journal Headache, researchers found that people with migraines have 2.5 times higher rate than those without migraines of not getting enough sleep, a 3 times higher rate of not being able to fall asleep easily, and a 4.3 times higher rate of having nightmares once they are asleep.

Not only do Migraines make it difficult to sleep, but sleep disruptions often trigger Migraines. It can become quite a vicious cycle!
Be well,
