Migraines linked to blood clots

Yet another thing to worry about if you live with migraines.
According to a study published in the September 16, 2008, issue of the journal Neurology, people who have migraines may also be at higher risk for developing blood clots, called deep vein thrombosis or DVTs (Pain you should never ignore).
Researchers studied over 500 people, 111 of whom had migraines. When looking at the number of people who also had DVTs, the researchers found that only 8% of people without migraines had DVTs while 19% of people with migraines did.
