Milk Tea Recipe

I’ve been under the weather lately so have had to try and stay away from the little munchkin, which has not made me happy. Part of my ailment has been stuffiness and mild sore throat.

In made a honey-lemon sore throat remedy for my wife when she had the same thing during pregnancy, and she quite liked it. The next thing that I might try is a tasty milk tea recipe from Inside Motherhood.

The recipe is as follows:

Milk Tea
1 cup milk
1 teabag of whichever tea you usually have around (I used plain old Salada tea)
1/2 teaspoon honey
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Simmer milk with teabag in a pot over low heat until warmed through. Add honey and stir. Add spices to taste. Pour into a mug and add a bit of sugar if needed.

It sounds delicious regardless of sickness, so I think I’m going to give that a try. Thanks Sherry!
