Mischa Barton’s Body Image Issue

You’d think it would be great to be a Hollywood starlet who is thin, fashionable, and making some good money. But apparently the stress can add up. Such is the case with Mischa Barton, who is tackling some personal demons recently that have been exacerbated by her fame.

Barton’s weight has been ridiculed recently when pictures of her with (gasp!) cellulite appeared. She’s recently also had a DUI arrest, a breakup, and a stay in the psychiatric ward. Reportedly the pictures making fun of her weight really bothered her.

Unbelievably, one reports says that the (svelte by anyone’s standards) actress is struggling with a “fluctuating weight and body image” issue. When I hear things like this about someone that looks like she does, I have to wonder if this is her own personal issue, or if fame makes this problem happen.
