Moderation? You’re Kidding – Right?

September 14th. I wrote about comment spammers. Akismet had caught a little over 7,000 comment puke spams.
It’s eleven days later – 11!!! And we are one night away from hitting 10,000 comment spams caught by Akismet. Please, oh, please, can I have just 5 short minutes with a comment spammer! God, I promise I won’t, erm…. I’ll think of some way to negotiate with HP on this one – hehe…

I agree about the speakers, but am wondering why I need to give you a bogus e-mail address to post. Like your site, but don’t like giving out my e-mail.
Oh, and I almost never get spam comments on Blogger. Knock on wood.

I can’t speak to the email issue – this Blog is part of a network and I personally have no control over that…
I often wonder why you folks don’t get the spam we get. It may have something to do with the network deal again, not sure…
