Momma Told Me There’d Be Days Like This

She just didn’t tell me she & the rest of the family would be the cause of them.
Actually, this is one of my biggest fears; if you read here, you can understand why see why it’s a legitimate fear. I write, desperately trying to communicate, so that I’m not placed in an insane asylum — because who will be my Dr. Emery Hetrick?
This fear may be the only thing I have in common with Marilyn Monroe. (Besides abortions — and no, those things aren’t related. Unless you factor in how people think they can judge and control your life which can drive you crazy.)
This fear is poignant, hauntingly beautiful; a chance to live because freedom could be taken away. Which is why I found DPopTart’s response to Artmaker’s 140 character story challenge so wonderful. She wrote:
Squirrels are frozen to the porch. I feed them holiday nuts from a tin – until a snow white jacket, tied in back, stills my arms.

LOL I know how that feels!
Hi Sarah!
It’s so nice to know I’m not alone — and not just that inner knowledge, but to hear it from another person.
Parenting & family craziness can make me feel very isolated. So thanks
