MommyAuctions.com offers an alternative to EBAY

What a nifty idea! I doubt I’d be able to find much for teens, but something like this when the twins were babies would have been SO welcomed!
“Momprenuer Samantha Stack recently launched a niche auction site for moms and moms to be. MommyAuctions.com offers an alternative to EBAY for maternity, baby, and children’s items. It is a community for moms and a dedicated place for them to buy and sell…Mommy Auctions was launched in May 2007 to provide a clutter-free place to buy and sell maternity, baby, & children’s items galore! It is a community for moms, not just an auction site. It was started by a mom for moms, so they could have a dedicated marketplace of their own!” www.mommyauctions.com

A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don’t take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A+++ http://www.elfingo.com
If you are excited about mommyauctions that much, you need to check out http://www.swapbabygoods.com. It is the original website for moms started 3 years ago for buying selling and swapping unwanted baby items.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AVOID MOMMYAUCTIONS.COM ALL TOGETHER! The Owner Samantha is very rude and is known to send verbally abusive messages to her present and former members when they should make message or posting mistakes! Word of mouth says she has little member clientele and more storefront sellers listing most of the quantity of items noticed in her category links! I won’t doubt I am a former member, but that is by choice, since I was fortunate enough to remove myself before letting her continue on with her demeanor! Furthermore, she says listing is free, but it’s REALLY NOT! She charges a percentage fee on top of your sales! And charges EXTRA FEES to upgrade your ad! So how is that Free? It’s NOT!! Rude – Rip OFF site who copied EBay to take advantage of a mom’s hard earned money!
