Monday Modular: Clever Homes

With a name like “Clever Homes” how is this not catching on like wildfire?

The home pictured left, CH14, is the home I like. It fit’s my taste and my families needs. Like all the designs Clever Homes has they are clean, crisp, and bold. This one, as they desicribed it, is more reminisent of a “Prairie Style“. I also noticed that this particular designe was featured in Better Homes and Garden .

Like most PreFab or Modular homes, Clever Homes, offers efficincy in energy and the amount of materials. What better way to use less materials (up to 50% less) but still retain a high R-value than with SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) panels.

I am not sure that Clever Homes is offering any services or technology that is better than any other PreFab/Modular manufacturer. That means, as always, it will come down to price and availability. Go to the Clever Homes website. They have illustrated the steps to follow when building a home with them. You’ll also find many more designs that will appeal to your needs (wants). As you can see the plans are available as PDF’s to study.
