How many times have you said, “I’ll start my diet on Monday?” It may sound cliché, but one source says Monday is a very good time to start any diet or fitness regime. First, it comes at the start of a week, when your natural state of mind is thinking about serious business. You’re going back to work, getting into the swing of things again, and this mindset can help you when it comes to health and fitness.

Since Monday follows the weekend, it means you’ve had time to slouch off and relax. Perhaps that extra time even pushes you into a new routine once the work week begins. If you’ve ever spent an entire weekend being lazy, watching TV, and eating junk, you know what I’m talking about. Your body seems to crave veggies, walks, and a healthier life come Monday.

To permanently get the weight off and keep it off, you must change your programming. Just like a computer, if it doesn’t have the PowerPoint program installed, will never be able to open a Powerpoint presentation, you will never be able to get and keep the weight off if you don’t have the thin-programming. How do you know if you have this programming? Check the scales. If the number’s too high, you don’t have the programming, plain and simple. Changing your programming is not easy, but then neither is dieting nor carrying around excess weight. Check out WhyAreYouWeighting . com and order the book “Why Are You Weighting? It’s Not The Food That’s Making You Fat!”to learn about changing your programming.
