More Books to Movies…Coming Soon!
Since the massive Harry Potter books and movie success writers and movie producers have been loving the conversion rates they get from their own works. Check out these movies hitting the screen soon. However, my suggestion is to always read the books first. The books are all listed below.
There are several more in the works for late this summer and fall. First up is Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (August 6) and all the girls are back for this one, even America Ferrera and Blake Lively with their recent success in Gossip Girl and Ugly Betty.

Next is Nick and Norah’s Infinate Playlist (IMDB) on October 3 followed closely by
City of Ember on October 10. With Bill Murray and Tim Robbins this is bound to be a blockbuster.
November:
The long awaited Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (photos) will hit the screen just prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday on November 21. Watch for upcoming previews here as we get closer…
December:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button stars Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett and Julia Ormond. Set in New Orleans they began filming in 2006. It will premiere December 19, 2008.
The Tale of Despereaux. The book, by Kate DiCamillo tells a fairy tale of an odd little mouse. The animated hero will come to life on December 19. (trailer)
Twilight also premiers in December. And oh, the controversy over this one!
