More Dating Advice From Sarah

It’s been awhile since I asked my daughter, Sarah, for her thoughts on dating. She’s been all eyes and ears when it comes to her sister and her boyfriend (who now lives with us) lately. I figured she might have some new insight. Kids have a great way of cutting right to the heart of something.
Here’s what she had to say……
During the first date, don’t talk too much about your cat, or the fact that you live alone. You don’t want to sound like some kind of cat-lady weirdo.
Don’t talk too much about previous relationships, because that makes you sound like you are thinking too much about your old boyfriend/girlfriend.
Don’t say anything about your body in a bad way. Don’t say, “Oh I hate the way my butt is shaped.” It makes it seem like you don’t like yourself.
When you’ve been dating someone a long time, try not to yell too much.
On the first date, don’t ask right away for a kiss. Wait for a good time to kiss them.
To sum it up, don’t tell it all on the first date, present yourself with confidence, be polite, and don’t rush.

good point about the cat…i didnt think of that..:)
Hahah. That’s so cute, and as an adult, that’s probably the same advice I would give!
Thanks Darcie and TipsGoda. Sarah is a pretty smart kid.
